Sightseeing

I go to sea for the science, but one of the things that keeps me coming back is the beauty of working on a ship. I’ve been giving you a lot of data recently, so I want to balance that with some of the sights I’ve been seeing.

This is a boat loaded up with boats! I’ve never seen anything like it before:

This is last night’s sunset. It was spectacular:

And here is tonight’s sunset – just a day apart but very different:

  1. Ms. T... Here are some of the reasons we think the sunsets look so different:

-Did daylight savings time have anything to do with it? (Abby)
-The pictures were from different times of day. (Bryam)
-The pollution might have had something to do with it! (Ms. Brooks)
-The pictures were taken in different locations. (Alvin)
-Different types of clouds may have changed the sunset. Maybe the clouds have different amounts of water in them because of the water cycle (Shaliyah).

Let us know what you think!
